Seventeen years around the Karaoke scene has not diminished my love of Karaoke.
Four years ago having spent at least five nights a week frequenting other people's gigs, co-hosting and doing KJ's Karaoke books, I was asked to start hosting Karaoke for a friend. After a year of working for someone else I launched Joyful Karaoke. With my crew of Ben, Mike and Chris we offer a fun filled Karaoke experience borne out of our own experience of good and bad Karaoke.

I have always loved music – both playing, listening and performing - but it was in a rural bar in Australia that I first discovered karaoke. 14 people, a KJ and a karaoke machine and I was hooked. Since then I have sung from Cruise Ships in the Caribbean to an open air karaoke on the African Plains and competed in 5 National UK Grand Finals.
A good karaoke has the potential to turn a karaoke virgin into a confident singer and more – a bad karaoke can make that first song their last. I know what makes a good karaoke and I want every singer to feel like a star when they are performing their song at a Joyful Karaoke night!
